History

Chien Hsin University was formerly known as Jianxing Industrial College founded in the 55th year of the Republic of China. At the beginning of the school's establishment, it had four subjects and six classes, including civil engineering, telecommunications engineering, construction engineering and industrial management. After years of expansion, it was approved to be restructured into "Jianxing Industrial and Commercial College" in the 1983 academic year. Subsequently, in order to cooperate with the reform and self-improvement of technical and vocational education, the Ministry of Education approved the restructuring into "Jianxing Technical College" starting from the 1988 academic year. In addition to the original 6 subjects of the junior college department, a college department and a further education department were established, and it was also approved to establish an attached junior college training school.

In January 1989, it was approved to be renamed "Qingyun Technical College"; in the 1990 academic year, new departments of business management, marketing, asset management, and finance were added; in the 1991 academic year, the departments of payroll and external affairs were added, and the total enrollment increased to 12 departments Department; the academic system includes day and night courses for second technical and fourth technical courses, on-the-job classes, on-the-job special classes and day and night courses for second technical courses, on-the-job classes, and further training schools. In the academic years of 1991 and 1992, the Institute of Mechanical, Electronics, and Electrical Machinery was successively established; in the academic year of 1992, it was approved to be restructured into "Qingyun University of Science and Technology" ; in the academic year of 1992, the Department of International Trade was renamed the Department of International Business Administration; in the academic year of 1993, the Institute of Business Management was established , Institute of Civil Engineering and Disaster Prevention; in the 1994 academic year, the Institute of International Business Management and the Institute of Central Asia were newly added; in the 1995 academic year, the Institute of Civil Engineering and Disaster Prevention was renamed "Institute of Space Information and Disaster Prevention Technology"; in the 1996 academic year, the Institute of Civil Engineering and Disaster Prevention was newly added Added in-service classes at the Institute of International Business Management, Institute of Computer Communication and Systems Engineering, Department of Applied Space Information, Property Management Degree Program and Materials Manufacturing Technology Degree Program; added the Institute of Information Engineering and the Institute of Information Management in the 1997 academic year ; In the 1998 academic year, the Institute of Finance was added; in the 100 academic year, the property management degree program was renamed "Department of Property Management and Management", and a new Department of Hospitality and Hospitality Management was added; In August 2011, the school was approved to restore its name to "Chien Hsin University"; a new master's class in the Department of Industrial Management was added in the 102 academic year; from the 103 academic year, the Institute of Business Management was renamed the Department of Business Administration (Master's Class, Master's On-the-job Specialized Class), and the Institute of International Business Management was renamed the Department of International Business Management (Master's Class) , master's degree in-service courses) The Department of Digital Multimedia Design was added in the 104th academic year. In the 109th academic year, the "Department of Vehicle Engineering" was added, and the "Department of Property Management and Property Management" was renamed "Department of Interior Design and Management".

At present, the school has a total of 17 departments, 1 degree program, and 12 master's classes (including in-service classes). Since its establishment, the school has cultivated countless promising young people with both academics and morals. Under the leadership of the board of directors and successive principals, it has continued to build more school buildings, enrich equipment, recruit outstanding domestic and foreign scholars to teach at the school, strengthen the teaching staff, and improve the quality of the school. Take all aspects into consideration and create a new era of macroeconomics.

With the word "Xing" as the main visual, it clearly shows the school's philosophy of "attitude is more important than professionalism" and "teaching by example is more important than teaching by words". The totem uses modern lines to present the feeling of an ancient seal, representing that the school attaches great importance to the tradition of "Heaven moves vigorously, and a gentleman strives for self-improvement" while also not forgetting the innovative spirit of pursuing excellence. The word "Xing" in the totem is drawn in parallel with two lines, which represent learning and practice in parallel, striving to "unify knowledge and action." The cyclic dynamic vision presented by the totem symbolizes the attitude of continuous learning and the spirit of self-improvement (continuously correcting oneself and growing continuously).
